Our company decided to introduce "short-time working", which means that the employees have to take a holiday every Friday.

This is because our custmers, that is car campanys, decrease their production due to a shortage of semi-conductors and plastic products.

I was glad to hear the news that I could take 3 holidays every week.

However, after that, it turned out that this rule was NOT effective for Japanese expats.

It was so disappointing...

Unfortunately, I will work 5 days a week as usual.

Today, I went to a restaurant with my Japanese colleague for dinner.

The restaurant is near Neckar River and the view was nice.

I ordered "Currywurst", which is a famous food in Germany and means sausages with curry sauce.

My colleague ordered a hamburger.

In Germany restaurants, a lot of french fries are served with a main menu.

It is said that German eats potatoes as much as Japanese eats rice.

I was full, but I could enjoy Germany life.
