Walking in Heidelberg
About 5 months have passed since I came to Heidelberg, but there are still some famous places which I have never been to.
That's why I walked around in the city yesterday.
First of all, I visited Heidelberg University.
This is the oldest university in Germany.
A main campus has been moved to a different location and the above building includes classrooms and a museum.
A student prison is near the building and this is a famous sightseeing spot.
When I tried to enter it, I happened to find the following board.
Surprisingly, an european office of Kyoto University exists there!
I didn't know the fact.
Unfortunately, I was not able to enter the museum and prison because all time slots had already been booked.
I will try it next time.
After that, I went to two churches.

In particular, I thought the white design of the 1st one was beautiful.
Next, I visited the entrance of the road to Heidelberg castle.
This road is called Philosophers' Way, which is the same as the road in Kyoto.
It's a steep slope, but I would like to try it someday.
Lastly, I took some pictures of Heidelberg castle and Alte Brücke (Old Bridge).
In conclusion, these are most suitable for photographic subjects.
I got more familiar with Heidelberg through this walking.
