As I already mentioned yesterday, we had a dinner party with all Japanese expats working in Germany. Since our company has 2 bases, Heidelberg and Arnstadt, we decided to hold this party in Frankfurt, which is located in the middle of the two. It was held mainly for 2 objectives, a welcome party for new Japanese colleagues and a farewell one for me. In addition, they kindly celebrated my birthday as well. It was a happy coincidence. One of them gave me gifts, a body soap and a hand cream for men. I was so glad because I rarely buy this kind of stuff and I didn't think I could receive a birthday gift from someone in Germany. It was one of my unforgettable birthdays.

New discovery in Heidelberg
After coming back from Frankfurt, we introduced Heidelberg to one of new Japanese colleagues. Actually, he will start working from June and live in my room after me. In advance of it, he is visiting Heidelberg as a business trip this time. While we explored Heidelberg, we went to a summit of a mauntain by car. To be honest, it was my first time to go there even though I have already lived in Heidelberg for 2 years. The view from the summit was nicer than my expectation.
I should have visited there earlier, but it was good to know this place before finishing my life in Germany. I was able to find a new attraction of Heidelberg.

・She has attracted a lot of attention since her debut and she performed well in famous graded races for young female horses. She has never won a GI race, but she has got the 2nd place or the 3rd place. In February this year, she challenged a race with male horses for the first time and got the 2nd place, which encouraged me to bet on her. I thought she was growing up as everyone expected. She should be now strong enough to win a GI race for female horses.
・I would like to bet on ⑥Songline with the same importance as ⑪Namur. She is good at this course and she has an experience of winning a GI race held in Tokyo T1600m. I can't exclude her from my betting strategy.
・The lowest-odds horse of this race is ②Stars on Earth. I admit her strength, but I think her best performance can be shown in a bit longer distance. She usually doesn't start a race smoothly and this is not preferable for a mile race. However, she can run so fast in a home stretch always. That is why I expect she will got the 2nd place or the 3rd place today.
・In conclusion, I bought the following TRIFECTA tickets, where ⑥Songline and ⑪Namur are candidates for the winner and ②Stars on Earth is in the 2nd or 3rd place in all of the cases.
