Rothenburg ob der Tauber
I went to Rothenburg ob der Tauber (ローテンブルグ) yesterday.
This town is small, but it's popular with tourists due to its beautiful cityscape.
Access
It took more than 4 hours and I had to change trains 4 times for one-way.
In addition, German trains are not so reliable as Japanese ones and their departure is often late.
I have been more patient since I came to Germany.
On the other hand, I could save half of the fare because I have a special ticket which was given by my company.
This was the only advantage.

The colorful houses were lined up.
The first photo is a main spot in Rothenburg and it was crowded.
Medieval Crime Museum
I found the strange museum.
In this museum, materials relating to crime, punishment and trial are displayed.
In particular, various torture devices were impressive.
It was interesting that there were not only German and English instructions but also Japanese ones.
Do they think that Japanese are sadist and like these devices?
The beautiful town and the cruel museum were not harmonized.
Castle Wall
Rothenburg is surrounded by castle walls.
That is why I had to pass through a gate to enter this town.
Moreover, I could go inside the wall and walk on it.
This reminded me of "Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人)".
That's all about the trip.
I'd like to visit one or two more spots before going back to Japan at the end of the year.
