I had a bad news this week. My boss decided to leave our company at the end of this month. He is always so kind that he answers my stupid questions many times and speaks English slowly for me. I don't have confidence to do well without him... I guess the bad financial situation in our company and upcoming restructuring affected his decision more or less though he said this job change was a just coincidence. This news made me want to go back to Japan more strongly...
Life in Germany
Vietnamese Pho
One of my colleagues kindly invited me to his house. He is a German and lives with a Vietnamese girlfriend. I visited their house with another Irish colleague. It was a quite international situation. We enjoyed watching football and eating traditional Vietnamese food "Pho".
Regarding football, we watched EFL League. The match was Manchester United vs Chelsea. Since the Irish colleague is a fan of Chelsea, we supported Chelsea. According to him, this league is not so important and famous strong players don't join games so often. However, Chelsea prepared main players on that day in order to beat the strong competitor, Manchester United. We had expected a good match, but unfortunately Chelsea lost by 0-2. While I'm not familiar with football and was basically silent, the two colleagues are continuously excited to praise and complain performances.
During the football match, we also enjoyed eating Pho. My colleague's girlfriend kindly cooked it for us. I forgot to take a picture, but the following one is close to what she cooked.
It was my first time to take a look at Pho and eat it. Pho was so tasty and I was glad to feel Asian atmosphere in Germany.
Anyway, I'm so grateful for the couple's hospitality.

・Dirt 1600m in Tokyo Racecourse is unique because it starts with a turf area in spite of a dirt race. Therefore, I focused on past performances in this course. As a result, I reached this conclusion, ⑥Air Spinel. For the same reason, ⑤Sunrise Nova is also a good candidate. They are already old horses, but they are still challenging many graded races including GI. Indeed, both of them have an experience being within the top3 in this race. That is why I would like to predict this race mainly based on these 2 horses.
・⑨Tagano Beauty is also good at this course. In addition, I can't ignore ⑦Lemon Pop and ⑪Gilded Mirror, who are gathering most votes.
