I showed successful predictions for 4 weeks in a row, but that great work was stopped last week. Now, I have around 20,000 JPY in my horse racing bank. Although it looks a large amount of money, it will run out within one month if I can't show correct predictions at all. Instead of being satisfied with the current situation, I would like to stay hungry.
Life in Germany
Northern Germany
I went to the north region of Germany with Japanese expats last week. Since they are used to driving a car and I'm not familiar with foreign trafic rules, I was a passenger and DJ all the time. I have to say thank you to them for driving over the long distance.
Kassel
Our first destination was Kassel. The main sightseeing spot in this city is the above hill called "Wilhelmshöhe". As you can see in the pictures, there is a water path in this architecture. If you visit it at a certain timeslot on specified days of the week between May and September, you can see water running through it like a fall. Unfortunately, we were not able to see that "water show", but we enjoyed the nice view from the top of the hill.
Lübeck
The next city was Lübeck, which was the northernmost point of our trip. This gate was the main attraction and it was like an entrance of this city. This building used to be on a German old bill before Euro. There is a museum inside the building and we learnt the history of Lübeck. According to the exhibits, this city played an important role in terms of foreign trade because it is near Baltic sea and North Sea. The keyword is "Hanseatic League (ハンザ同盟)". I have heard this word, but I can't explain the detail.
Hamburg
Hamburg is the largest city in the north region. Like Lübeck, Hamburg also has a function as a harbor. As you may know, Hamburg is famous for "Red Brick Warehouse". It reminded me of Yokohama, but it was much larger. I can no longer be satisfed with Yokohama's one.
Düsseldorf
Many Japanese people live in this city. That is why there are many authentic Japanese restaurants. We went to one of them. It is not too much to say that this is the most exciting moment during this travel. We had been eager to eat these kinds of Japanese food. We enjoyed high-quality 刺身, 鶏のから揚げ, 揚げ出し豆腐, なす田楽, かき揚げ, etc... As many people say, I appreciated Japan after staying in a foreign country. The readers of this blog from Japan should be grateful for the fact that you can eat Japanese food at a low price anywhere and anytime.
Bremen
Bremen is fanous for its fairy tale "The Bremen town musicians". We found the relevant statue in the main square. This square had a good atmosphere with the old church and the old city hall. However, that's all about Bremen. Just one-hour stay is enough to know Bremen.
Monschau
I think this area is not so popular among tourists. In accordance with the suggestion from one of the expats, we decided to go there. In conclusion, it was much better than my expectation. We enjoyed that beautiful and quiet scenery.
That's all about this travel. In addition, I have many travel plans. The next plan is "Nördlingen". It is said that the Japanese famous comic "Attack on Titan" is based on this town. I will go there tomorrow as a one-day trip. If I'm fine, I will write about it in tomorrow's blog.

・As a recent tendency in Hanshin Racecourse, front runners are more likely to get a higher rank. Based on this information, I focused on 4 horses with an inside horse number, ①Shomon, ②Yurisha, ③Silver Duke and ④Session. All of them like running in a front position and they luckily got the inside number respectively. Among them, I selected ①Shomon as my favorite. This is because he has experiences of running well in this course. In addition, he gained weight by 22kg at the last race. I think this is a sign that he is growing up.
