Since I have got used to get money in horse racing, I'm upset even if I just lose in 5 races in a row. I would like to reset Ino-meter as soon as possible.
Life in Germany
Nördlingen ~ Attack on Titan ~
I went to Nördlingen today. It is said that the Japanese popular comic “Attack on Titan” is based on this town. Since I’m a fan of this comic, this rumor motivated me to go there.
If we look for the town on the map, it looks to be near Heidelberg.
However, in fact, the train access is too bad and it took about 4 hours by train. I needed to use 4 different trains for one way. This kind of long train journey is usually boring, but it was useful for me because I was able to think about tomorrow’s important GI race deeply. That is why I’m confident in my prediction for the race. I highly recommend betting in the same way.
As soon as arriving at the main station, I found the wall surrounding the town. It was much lower than the wall described in the comic. I think even a 10m-class titan can break it easily.
I found a map of this town. It was so similar to the town which main characters live in.
We can walk on the wall. From the wall, I saw many red roofs. This view was exactly the same as the animation.
After walking on the wall about half around, I got off from the wall and went to a eye-catching tower. This tower is combined with a church.
I took a short rest in the church and started going up the tower. As I had expected, there were so many steps and it was tough work. I somehow reached the top and I was able to take nice pictures from there. I imagined that many titans were coming from the green field around the town.
In the room near the top, I found a notebook which visitors can write anything in. There were some Japanese comments and almost all of them were related to “Attack on Titan”.
When I had checked this tower on the internet before the trip, I knew that one cat lives there. I almost gave up meeting him (her), but luckily I found him when going down the steps.
That’s all about this short trip to Nördlingen. I’m satisfied with having a chance to "devote my heart" there.
Prediction
皐月賞(GI、中山、芝2000m)
My favorite : None
・No outstanding horses. Bad turf condition due to rain. These factors make the prediction too difficult. In this case, I don't think it makes sense to select one horse as favorite. That is why I decided to buy a box type of QUNELLA ticket consisting of some middle-odds horses. I would like to bet on the following 6 horses.
⑤Hrimfaxi : Good performance during training with Sodashi.
⑧Top Knife : Stable performance in graded races.
⑨Ho O Biscuits : Recommended by some people. Same jockey from the debut.
⑪Shazzan : No experience of running with most of the participants. Unknown potential.
⑭Tastiera : Winner of a graded race held in the same course. His father was good at a bad turf condition.
⑱Meiner Laulea : Same reason as ⑪Shazzan. His father was the winner of this race.
Betting ticket
Total : ¥2,000
アンタレスステークス(GIII、阪神、ダート1800m)
My favorite : ⑫Promised Warrior (Odds : 1st)
・I can't see other horses than him. He continues winning 4 races including a graded race. While he looks to be a strong horse, other competitors don't attract me at all. I was able to decide my favorite horse easily for this race.
・I guess the 2nd place will be decided almost randomly. In other words, even high-odds horses have a chance to get a higher rank. That is why I would like to bet on those horses.
・I bought the following QUINELLA tickets consisting of ⑫Promised Warrior and one of high-odds horses.
