Football
I'm struggling with my sore muscle now.
This is because I played football with my colleagues yesterday.
This event was organized in order to deepen a relationship in our team.
I was not confident in my skill at all because I'm originally not good at football and I had never played it since I was a university student.
As I had expected, I could not play it well.
All other members scored successfully, but I was the only one who couldn't score.
Even though my boss noticed it and kindly gave me a lot of chances, I missed all of them.
However, I enjoyed it overall and could be refreshed.
After that, we went to a restaurant and enjoyed dinner.
I regret that I couldn't answer the following questions smoothly during dinner.
・What do holidays in Golden week mean?
→ I completely forgot the meaning. I should have answered, for example, the day for celebrating nature or children.
・How many people live in Japan?
→ I couldn't say 120000000 in English. If it is written with commas (120,000,000)
I might be able to say "one hundred twenty million". It is still difficult to express large numbers in English.
Such experiences always inspire me to improve my English.
It seems that a next event is bowling.
I would like to do well next time.
