Today, I finally made new glasses. As I already mentioned last week, my main motivation is to take the advantage of my insurance service. I don't have any complaints about my current glasses, but I thought I wanted to get money if I can.
English communication with a staff was difficult, but I finished the process somehow. Following the recommendation from the staff, I bought glasses which have a function to cut blue light. I usually use my glasses just at home and I'm always watching my laptop or smartphone there. Therefore, it sounded good to have this function. According to the staff, the new glasses will be ready next Wednesday. I hope it will work well and make my life more comfortable.
Life in Germany
WBC
I was so excited that Japan became the champion in WBC last week. The semi-final and the final were held on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the games started at 0AM in Germany. In order to watch the games live, I decided to divide my sleeping time into before and after the games. This means I slept at 9PM - 12PM and 4AM-7AM. The total sleeping time was enough, but I noticed the separated sleeping was not good for my health. After this hard week, I'm a little bit sick now.
Even though it was hard to watch the games live, I thought it was worth staying up late especially for the semi-final. In this game, the opponent was Mexico. Japan had a difficult time and it was behind by 1 points at the final inning. However, after the two-way star Ohtani-san made a chance, Murakami-sama turned it around with a walk-off hit. I think it was the most exciting moment in this tournament. In particular, although Murakami-sama had not performed well until that moment, he finally made the game-deciding hit. I was shouting alone at 4AM.

・This GI race is typically difficult to predict its result. For example, while the dividend for TRIFECTA was more than 2,000,000 yen last year, it was less than 10,000 yen two years ago. In addition, the turf condition was always bad due to rain in recent 3 years. I can say that the result of this race is decided almost rondomly. In this case, I think it is better to bet on high-odds horses.
・Among high-odds horses, I would like to mention ①Travesura. I selected him as my favorite last year as well and his rank was 4th at that time. After that, he was not able to be even within the top3, but the time differences from the winners were always small. From my point of view, evreyone underestimates his strength too much. In a similer turf condition to last year, he should have a chance to run well.
・In addition to him, I would like to bet on ⑥Naran Huleg and ③Kir Lord because they got the 1st and 3rd place respectively in this race last year. ⑬First Force also looks nice to bet on because he is good at Chukyo Racecourse and Mr. Danno is the best partner of this horse.
・I decided to buy a box type of QUINELLA PLACE consisting of the above 4 horses. Since I have a concern about my favorite horse ①Travesura in terms of the jockey, I avoided selecting a betting ticket where he is dealt with as a main horse.

・Surprisingly, this horse has never got a worse rank than the 2nd place except for one GIII race. Since this GIII race seemed to be difficult for front runners like him, I think we can ignore this result. In addition, Nakayama Racecourse is a good place for him because his result is 3-2-0-0 there.
・Besides this horse, I would like to bet on ⑫Hayabusa Nandekun. His performance is relatively stable and he already has an experience of being within the top 3 in a graded race this year. Just in case, I bet on ②Catedral as well even though this is the first time for him to try a dirt course. This is because such a horse sometimes runs well unpredictably in this kind of situation.
